A day conference for Baptists to explore theology together, with specialist input and time for discussion, held at Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church

There are many Baptists engaged in theological and biblical research, and this day-event brings them together to share their thinking, fostering a community of research amongst British Baptists. The day will comprise a series of short papers, reflecting the diversity of current Baptist theological engagement, with opportunities to interact with speakers.

Baptist Theology North | 28 March 2025

This year’s BTN will take the theme of Baptists and Communion. In addition to some excellent keynote talks we are going to feature some younger emerging scholars, as well as short paper options.

As usual, the focus will be on conversation as much as information and there will be a splendid lunch, at which we will share a Reformation-style communion liturgy led by Keith Jones as well as conversation with one another.

Save the date for a great day of theology based in the north (though anyone is welcome!). BTN will be held at New North Road BC in Huddersfield (a few moments from the station) and timings will be roughly 9am-4pm.
