Formally, our membership is open to ‘any person involved in Baptist Ministry.’ We would wish to emphasise that this is intended to include those in what has in the past been called ‘lay’ ministry, as well as those on the accredited list. Our belief is that people come to join us because of what we do, rather than joining because they meet a set of criteria.

Sector Ministry, Lay Ministry, Bi-vocational Ministry, leaders of Emerging Church and representatives of Fresh Expressions of Church - whatever language you use, BMF has a place for you.

We also welcome members from outside of the area served by the BUGB, even though our primary focus is here in the UK.
