We’re often asked if BMF is a Trade Union for Baptist Ministers. The simple answer is no - for although we do seek to represent the opinions of members to the BU, we don’t, as a rule, get involved in disgreements or discussions between ministers and churches. We’re delighted with the close working relationship which exists between the BMF and the BU, and in particular for the cooperation with the Ministry Department.
That relationship doesn’t stop us from asking the difficult questions; and we try not to forget that we include in our membership not only those in the ‘traditional’ pastoral setting, but also other forms of ministry.
